Udyog Aadhar - For MSMEs In India

Udyog Aadhaar was introduced as a business-centric registration initiative aimed at integrating micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) into India’s formal economy. Developed by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises under the Government of India, it offered a simplified, fully online enrollment process based on self-declared information. By leveraging Aadhaar-linked identification, the system eliminated extensive documentation requirements and enabled entrepreneurs to obtain a unique Udyog Aadhaar Number (UAN) efficiently and at no cost.
